I mostly use Logic without any of these, but even if I just installed the last iOS app connection (DAW Remote) a few days ago, I´ve never been having any issues with this.Īnyone who know how I might solve this problem? Hey guys, Does anyone have the drivers for OSX 10.13 for the digi 003 mixer I have it working on Pro Tools 10 but the computer doesn't see. The installed/active MIDI devices are 2 iOS remote apps and Native Instruments Kore. Preferably I would keep/reinstall the driver, as I need to use the Digidesign 003 Rack+ next week as well, but first of all I need to start up Logic. This happens whether RME Fireface is connected or not, and I´ve tried several restarts. It´s where you can switch between external or internal sound devices for In/Out). "Digi CoreAudio Device" still shows up in Audio units, but I can´t get the option to remove it, and it also shows up in Audio devices in OSX preferences (hm, I don´t know the right translation here. I´ve tried removing what I can of Digidesign stuff, but I keep getting the same issues after a new restart. After a while I get a message that the MIDI server could not be opened, and are recommended to remove newly installed drivers. When I to start Utilities->Audio and MIDI setup in Finder, and then opening the MIDI window, it says "loading" for a long time. When returning home to my RME Fireface, I´m having trouble starting up Logic, and get the same message about errors on the MIDI drivers.

I recorded a 12 track session, everything seemed to work out just fine.

So I did, and Logic started up as normal. Digidesign 003 - there are 3 drivers found for the selected device, which you can download from our website for free. When trying to start Logic first time after installing the driver, it took a long time checking MIDI drivers, before I was told there was something wrong with my them, so I needed to restart my computer.

I still have an old DIGI 001 unit too, but don't know where to get drivers for that. After installing the Digidesign 002/003 driver today, I´ve gotten some problems. I think this comes down to drivers that don't work for my hardware, or somehow the drivers are in the wrong location or loaded incorrectly.? The guide is in two parts, the first part for drivers and operators and the second part for engineers. I'm now attempting to reload the drivers. I think if the cable were bad, it would never load into the device list, so I'll start with the firewire drivers. ASUS is a leading company driven by innovation and commitment to quality for products that include notebooks, netbooks, motherboards, graphics cards. I got this because Avid pulled Sierra support for my 002 console, and it looks like they dont plan to rethink that, judging from the number of driver updates. I think the next thing to check is the hardware and windows drivers. The digi does show up in the computer device list. So far nothing has shown up in the input or output dropdowns and I have had the "enable inputs" checked when doing this. I'll check in later this evening when I'm at that computer.ĭo you get the FW003 driver in the Asio driver list.? If so this is the one you want.Make sure 'enable inputs' is ticked then select the inputs and outputs from the respective drop-down menus. If not, does the 003 appear in your windows 'device manager' list (Start\control panel\system\device manager\sound,video,game controllers).? Can you check to see if it works with protools.? Reaper and protools should co-exist with no problems. If you can get it working with 'tools,or not,at least it will narrow the problem down a little. It could be a hardware issue (ie: firewire cable) or a windows issue (windows 'sounds',firewire drivers, etc.)Sorry it's causing you so much grief.Hopefully we can help you narrow it down.

I'll try moving those from the C drive and run a fresh install of Reaper. I'm wondering if my old Pro Tools and Digidesign files are causing conflicts. I tried installing the asio4all drivers, but they show "not connected" in the input output dropdowns.

When I go to the dropdown for input and output, nothing shows up.
